Computer Lab

A Computer Lab is an essential learning environment that supports the subject “Computer Education”, which is part of the curriculum of GNM and BSc Nursing students. It helps in enhancing students’ digital literacy and practical computer skills, especially in relation to healthcare. The lab is equipped with multiple computer systems, printers, scanners, internet connectivity, and relevant nursing software. Each student gets hands-on experience in basic computer operations, such as word processing, data entry, use of spreadsheets, email, and internet browsing. It supports evidence-based practice through access to online journals and resources, familiarizing students with documentation and reporting through computer systems and encouraging efficient use of technology in patient care and hospital administration. The environment is designed to promote interactive learning, self-paced practice, and skill development, under the guidance of qualified faculty or instructors.
