The Nursing Foundation Lab provides a hands on learning environment for students to develop essential nursing skills. It serves as a simulated environment where Bsc. and Gnm nursing students are trained in various clinical-based skills before they are exposed to real-life situations in hospital settings. The lab is typically equipped with models, charts, mannequins, beds and instruments for conducting various kinds of clinical procedures, demonstrations. Students practice skills such as hand washing, bed making , care for maintaining personal Hygiene, vital Signs Assessment, physical examination, medication administration , wound care and catheterization under the guidance of experienced instructors. Simulation and OSCE session is arranged for the development of students clinical skills. The Nursing Foundation lab provides a valuable learning experience for students, enabling them to develop essential nursing skills and apply theoretical knowledge in practical settings.
