EVENT WRITE UP UPTO APRIL 2025

• 12^TH JANUARY: NATIONAL YOUTH DAY: National Youth Day was celebrated in the college premises with the students of B.Sc& GNM Nursing and all the faculties in the seminar hall. We conveyed our tribute to Swami Vivekananda for his numerous works for humanity and Indian society. Students decorated the wall magazine board reminding him.

• 17^th JANUARY: ANNUAL COLLEGE SPORTS: The Annual College Sports was held on 17^th January in the college field. The students participated in various sports category like 100 meters run, Sum race, Relay race, potato race etc. The faculties also participated in the sports categories. The Champion team was declared the B.Sc for collecting the most prizes.

• 23^rd JANUARY: BIRTH ANNIVERSARY OF NETAJI SUBHASH CHANDRA BOSE: Students of Ideal Institute Of Nursing participated in the Flag hoisting ceremony on the Occasion of 128^th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. The 1^st year GNM students and 1^st Sem B.Sc students paid tribute through a small cultural programme containing recitation and song.

• 26^th JANUARY: REPUBLIC DAY: The Republic Day was celebrated by organizing a Flag Hoisting Ceremony in the field of Ideal Institute of Nursing. All the students of GNM & B.Sc were present to celebrate this day. Few students of B.Sc 1^st Semester & GNM 1^st Year participated in the cultural programme.

• 4^th FEBRUARY: WORLD CANCER DAY: The B.Sc 7^th Semester & GNM 1^st Year students of Ideal Institute Of Nursing organized an awareness programme in the community area. They talked about the warning signs of cancer and Breast Self Examination to provide awareness among the community people.

• 21^st FEBRUARY: INTERNATIONAL MOTHER LANGUAGE DAY: The B.Sc 7^th Semester & GNM 1^st Year students of Ideal Institute Of Nursing celebrated this day among the Community people while sharing their experiences and emotions regarding this day.

• 20^th MARCH: WORLD ORAL HEALTH DAY: The students of GNM 1^st Year organized an awareness programme in the COM JNM Hospital to provide knowledge regarding different disease conditions caused by poor oral health hygiene and also the proper techniques to maintain oral health.

• 24^th MARCH: WORLD TUBERCULOSIS DAY: The students of B.Sc 1^st Semester organized an awareness programme in the COM JNM Hospital to provide knowledge regarding prevention of Tuberculosis among society and also the treatment modalities of TB patients. They also talked about the complications of the patients who don’t complete the treatment regimen encouraging them to promote a healthy and TB free society.

• 7^th APRIL: WORLD HEALTH DAY: The theme of World Health Day theme for 2025 was “Healthy Beginnings, Hopeful Futures”. The students of B.Sc 1^st Sem & GNM 1^st year students provided awareness programme on the ways of healthy living, the health facilities available in the community area.
